The Outfit can tailor a delivery method and contract to meet every client and projects requirements. This allows each client to determine their preferred level of project involvement and sets the parameters around the scope of service provided by The Outfit.
We have found Early Contractor Involvement has often provided the opportunity to maximise the value achievable in a project by taking advantage of The Outfit’s construction experience to develop an efficient cost effective design in parallel with the intended aesthetic.
The Outfit is a commercial building firm able to offer construction management services across a wide range of projects. As the construction partner in the delivery process we bring to the table our years of experience to provide the buildability knowledge and administration to control all aspects of construction including procurement and cost control, programme, quality, the environment and key stakeholder needs.
When associated with the design of a project, The Outfit is able to bring together a team of designers and consultants as needed to determine the project brief and develop the design to meet these. This will include the extraction of a client needs analysis and functional brief followed a collaborative design approach to ensure the design is tailored to best service all these needs.
This process can then be managed right through to obtaining authority and building owners approval and final occupation certification.
Value engineering is a systematic and organized approach to provide the necessary functions in a project at the lowest cost. By referencing our experience in many facets of commercial construction, The Outfit can assist with achieving budget and programme targets by suggesting options for substitution of materials and methods with less expensive alternatives, without sacrificing functionality.
At The Outfit, we understand that projects must be feasible before they can proceed to design and documentation phase. As such, we are happy to provide cost planning and programming advice at the inception of a potential project that can be used as a general guide for managing the cost and time expectations. As per the Earlier Contractor Involvement method, this activity allows us to give the project the necessary direction required, whether it be in design or construction method, to help maintain the key drivers.
